Labella Gift Baskets

Yet another Labella Consultant chimes in about her personal experience working out of her home. Joanna Chambreu lives out in the country with slow computer connection speed. These are things I never thought about! Here's her story;

I started looking for a home based business a couple of years ago when I grew sick and tired of working for other people.   I was working for an incompetent guy at the time who thought himself a big "entrepreneur".   After working for him for 6 years, where he almost drove his business into the ground TWICE, I decided I wanted to be my own boss.

That, together with the fact I was living in a remote area - a small community in the Mojave desert, California - it really drove my desire to finding some great.  There was a fair driving distance to the nearest city where the decent paid jobs were, so I found myself not only wanting, but really NEEDING a home based business.

So I started to look around, and it took me a while to eliminate the scams from the genuine opportunities, and then the businesses I would be interested in versus what I knew I would be good at.

I looked into being a virtual assistant, and online support for well known logistics companies. But living in a remote area, I just didn't have the internet speed needed, so they were eliminated from my list.    Also eliminated were jobs where I would need to write - online reviews, blogging - I knew reading & writing reviews just weren't for me.

I did actually try the "get paid for watching ads".  Basically you get paid for watching ads ranging between 3 and 30 seconds.  But you get paid a portion of a penny at a time so it takes hours to build up even $5.

I tried the paid online surveys, but got two or three pages into doing them before I was told I did not meet the criteria to continue with the survey - so I never got paid anything even for all those questions I had conveniently answered!

I also tried the writing reviews for listening to new songs.  Very enjoyable - and paid OK compared to the other two.  But you have to be a creative writer (again, I'm not a fan of writing) and have the ear to appreciate everything that going on in the record - not just the vocals or the guitar - you have to be able to comment on it all.

Next I found another home based business selling "green" products with Melaleuca.   I will not to say anything bad about the company, as I almost signed up with them.  I liked their ethics, but I didn't like the idea of having to purchase around $60 worth of products every month myself.   There is no way I could take advantage of all those items because I don't have a family - it's just me and my husband in our household.   So I figured a big chunk of profits would be swallowed up each month unnecessarily.  Nothing bad about the company - it just didn't suit my needs.

Then, thank goodness, I found La Bella Baskets.  A very affordable business opportunity at just $24.95 per month, beautiful products that you can have complete confidence in selling (visit www.iceni.labellabaskets.com to see more), 5 ways to earn an income, no need to buy any inventory or kits yourself easy to do (marketing & promoting), excellent training & support and overall, very fun.

Of course having been through everything, I did my due diligence and still researched the company over several weeks by reading reviews and testimonials before I decided to go for it.  I signed up in May 2013 and can tell you from my experience that I am so glad I did.   It is not a get rich quick scheme.  It takes time, patience, persistence and consistency, but the business module does really work.

I chose to concentrate on Team Leadership, and love sharing information about the business to others.  It is a great pleasure to mentor my team and help them build their own businesses.   My cheques are growing each month and I can't wait to see where I will be in a year's time.

If anyone is interested in learning more about La Bella Baskets, I would encourage them to go to http://iceni.labellabaskets.com/earnincome.php

You'll find Labella Gifts in the upper right hand corner as I do support them and highly recommend them as honest, trustwothy, and profitable, to say the least! I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for an online, at home business.

Reverse Mortgages

Every time I hear those commercials on television about taking equity out of your home the hair follicles on the back of my head tingle. While there is nothing wrong with using your equity as you get older. After all, it’s your money and I say use it for yourself, you deserve it.
The problems I have with these commercials are:
1. They want you to call a generic number to talk to God knows who and let them pull the money out and give it to you! What!?
2. They tell you nothing about what your responsibilities will be after you’ve pulled that money out.
3. They thinly veil how much it WILL cost you to take that action.
4. They thinly veil or never mention anything that may make you think twice before picking up that phone!
Here’s your simple answer; See your banker! Do not leave this major decision up to a complete stranger!
You will-Still be responsible for property taxes, house insurance, home repair and upkeep, just to mention a few things.
Trust no one but people you already trust. You should have everything spelled out for you and given advice how to use that money. If you already have a “banking relationship” you have money and commitments from and in your bank. They want you to keep your business going to them. They would be stupid not to protect that relationship.
That generic phone number at the bottom of your screen doesn’t know you at all! Why would you trust them with your money, much less all your personal information? Television is meant to entertain you, or sell you some “As Seen on Television” gadget. Do not trust it with your financial future.

Swagbux

Not only is this blog created to highlight the the opportunities that are real and actually pay you, it is also intended to help you avoid the pitfalls I found trying them out. One such site is Swagbux! I joined that site three days ago. It took me three days to clean up my PC after joining. You'd think I'd have learned by now. Not so. For the sake of my readers I took it for a full test drive. What I ended up with is several ad popups that appeared for no particular reason. They just popped up! Thirteen popups needed to be cleaned out of my machine. Because I have Norton Security Suite I could have payed $100 to have them remove them or do it myself and learn. I did it myself which was much more time consuming. But it was free.
Swagbux wants you to open different web sites and supposedly make money doing so. I don't know if I made anything and I won't go back and check it out. I won't risk my time and I've hopefully saved time for you. You can go ahead and try it but I highly recommend not. Save yourself the grief and time spent to remove it. Move on to one of my recommended sites. Best of luck to you and let me know how it's going!

Actual work at home jobs that Actually pay you enough to replace your salary!

I’ve seen them, you probably have too. You work out of your home, in PJs if you want to and you actually get paid to do so! There are so many opportunities you can pick anything from a customer service associate to a General Manager of a wide range of companies. I highly encourage you to investigate these opportunities and see if you may fit any of the offerings. The hours are sometimes full time or part time. You might replace your salary you make in the office! Exciting stuff for the traditional 8 to 5er. No driving in rush hour traffic, no dress code, no office gossip or personality conflicts! You use far less fuel driving to and from work. Top all that off with grocery delivery and less money spent eating away from home.
I work for me, I am my own boss, and I know the decreased stress when you are working for you. I work in my “break room” kitchen. Sometimes I work in my living room. I might be in my workshop or up in my storage room (usually taking inventory). The stress is not eliminated but there’s no getting called into the bosses office or scheduled lunches or breaks. You decide what you will and won’t do. Often I call quitting time at 4pm, but it’s not unusual for me to start working before dawn just because I feel like it!
That’s pretty much all the fluff for working out of your home. I you research any of these “wonderful” work at home jobs you’ll find there are many drawbacks. Just like any job at your standard “brick and mortar” position you will be required to produce. You might have a specific schedule to work in. You may be required to work into the morning hours, or a specific number of hours. You may not have holidays off. Any number of conciliations for the comfort of your own home work environment may have to be made.
If you have dogs or young children at home and you have to talk to people on the phone you may not qualify for the position. If your neighbors, friends or family do not understand that working from home is actually working you may be asked to do them a favor like run to the post office or pick up their kids from school, etc. “as long as you’re home”. Yes, this has happened to me and many of my business associates as well.
Do your research and think it over. You just might find the perfect position for you. If it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out and move on to your next opportunity. Good luck and I hope to hear from those of you who found your future right there in your home! Don’t lose that ambition to say goodbye to your boss!
Go to the Monster  website. They have lots of work at home jobs listed.

Before the internet

I was reminded recently by an online scam about the days when scams came by mail and phone. Remember the chain mail? Remember the " send $5 to five people and get hundreds of 5 dollars back by mail"? That was a federal crime and who got busted? You! I also remember envelope stuffing.
Well the game was completely changed up since the internet. It not only became global, it became an epidemic!
True, there are lots of reputable jobs out there that do make money for you. The only problem is they're just like any other job. You have to be willing to learn the job and actually work! They aren't your typical 8 to 5 they are sometimes 70 or 80 hr a week jobs to get it done right! The rest are pure garbage!
No, the game hasn't changed, it's just become more accessible!

Frustrated yet?

Frustration is part of the job. Yes you have a job! That job is finding ways to replace or create an income. Only you know your limitations and only you can find ways to remove those limitations! It’s your choice as how to remove your limitations. Whatever you do, do not think any door is permanently closed. I’ve worked with so many people looking for ways to make an income I’ve found more than one thread of attitude that blocks the way to make money, or make more money! It’s; “I can’t do this or that because…………………” This is the greatest cause for failure!
The second cause for failure is; “I don’t make enough money to continue looking”. Or, “I don’t make enough money through this site or that site to continue this idea”. That’s what weeds out the “men from the boys”. On the other hand I suggest two things. Never close a door. Also, just because you don’t create the kind of income you’re looking for immediately is no reason to give up. Just because your quest isn’t what you dreamed it could be yet, your goal must never change if you’re seriously going to pursue your own income!
These are my set of standards for my own income:
Hard work, leave all options open, become recession proof, never work for someone else, once you start gaining any kind of income from anywhere other than working for “the man” don’t stop! Your income is your income; no one is making money off of you!
After making money for “the man” for 35 years I became independent and I will never go back! Between the attitudes of coworkers, feeling unappreciated, supervisors who think they’re better than their staff and constant adjustments to the staff coming down from the powers above I stopped working for them.
I became recession proof! I’m patient with how fast I grow my income. Finally, give back to those who need my help! That was the reason this blog was started in the first place. It makes no money, as I intended to do in the first place!   I give to local volunteer programs, such as our veterans, our reserve fire departments, our local food bank, our local tourism volunteers just to name a few. I also give advice to people who are looking for a way out of drawing a weekly paycheck. That would be this blog. In fact, if I spend any of my money I make sure it goes toward worthy cause.

Midwest housewife now makes more than $7000/month on line!

The story goes like this; A stay at home mom somehow with little training or knowledge of the online world figured out how to make over$7000 a month while keeping the house clean, look after her children and run the household.
Now, I don’t know about you but I find it suspicious how she can handle the full time job of taking care of the family, learning how to make anything online and producing a sales pitch to get you to follow her advice to do the same! All in a day’s work? Highly doubtful.
It’s actually a sales pitch for “Work At Home University”. She supposedly lost her job and couldn’t replace it. So she joined the program claiming to be an auction site. $97 later you can be an Auction List Agent, but you can do the same thing on eBay without the cost. I could go on and on about this scam so I’m going to skip straight to “do your research”. As I’ve said many times before, do not jump blindly into anything.
Look up Work At Home University reviews. Do not pick the advertisements (the first few listings). Go straight to the reviews on all sites you are thinking of joining. I looked it up and found what I figured I’d find.
One of my clues was if she’s making so much money why is she wasting time telling us that we can do the same!? If she was a real person she would be doing nothing but focusing on ALL her responsibilities. The same can be said for the former garbage collectors, the kid from nowhere who is selling you on his opportunity and anything else with the same type of story line.
Good luck in your quest to make online money. Just remember Workathomenoscam.com and Eddy Salomon are to be taken seriously. Your best chance to find online income is through that site!
