Not only is this blog created to highlight the the opportunities that are real and actually pay you, it is also intended to help you avoid the pitfalls I found trying them out. One such site is Swagbux! I joined that site three days ago. It took me three days to clean up my PC after joining. You'd think I'd have learned by now. Not so. For the sake of my readers I took it for a full test drive. What I ended up with is several ad popups that appeared for no particular reason. They just popped up! Thirteen popups needed to be cleaned out of my machine. Because I have Norton Security Suite I could have payed $100 to have them remove them or do it myself and learn. I did it myself which was much more time consuming. But it was free.
Swagbux wants you to open different web sites and supposedly make money doing so. I don't know if I made anything and I won't go back and check it out. I won't risk my time and I've hopefully saved time for you. You can go ahead and try it but I highly recommend not. Save yourself the grief and time spent to remove it. Move on to one of my recommended sites. Best of luck to you and let me know how it's going!

Before the internet

I was reminded recently by an online scam about the days when scams came by mail and phone. Remember the chain mail? Remember the " send $5 to five people and get hundreds of 5 dollars back by mail"? That was a federal crime and who got busted? You! I also remember envelope stuffing.
Well the game was completely changed up since the internet. It not only became global, it became an epidemic!
True, there are lots of reputable jobs out there that do make money for you. The only problem is they're just like any other job. You have to be willing to learn the job and actually work! They aren't your typical 8 to 5 they are sometimes 70 or 80 hr a week jobs to get it done right! The rest are pure garbage!
No, the game hasn't changed, it's just become more accessible!

Midwest housewife now makes more than $7000/month on line!

The story goes like this; A stay at home mom somehow with little training or knowledge of the online world figured out how to make over$7000 a month while keeping the house clean, look after her children and run the household.

Now, I don’t know about you but I find it suspicious how she can handle the full time job of taking care of the family, learning how to make anything online and producing a sales pitch to get you to follow her advice to do the same! All in a day’s work? Highly doubtful.

It’s actually a sales pitch for “Work At Home University”. She supposedly lost her job and couldn’t replace it. So she joined the program claiming to be an auction site. $97 later you can be an Auction List Agent, but you can do the same thing on eBay without the cost. I could go on and on about this scam so I’m going to skip straight to “do your research”. As I’ve said many times before, do not jump blindly into anything.

Look up Work At Home University reviews. Do not pick the advertisements (the first few listings). Go straight to the reviews on all sites you are thinking of joining. I looked it up and found what I figured I’d find.

One of my clues was if she’s making so much money why is she wasting time telling us that we can do the same!? If she was a real person she would be doing nothing but focusing on ALL her responsibilities. The same can be said for the former garbage collectors, the kid from nowhere who is selling you on his opportunity and anything else with the same type of story line.

Good luck in your quest to make online money. Just remember Workathomenoscam.com and Eddy Salomon are to be taken seriously. Your best chance to find online income is through that site!

I can make up to $95.24 per week with my system!

Caught your eye didn't it! Don't let it!
The word "system" is a blaring insult to the educated seeker for online income! While I believe it is possible to achieve $95.24 a week online, it wouldn't be by listening to this drivel. Yes DRIVEL. You would have to work many sites daily. Most people would have to work long hard hours to achieve a successful income of this size.
The scam artists are getting smarter and smarter everyday! They are trying attract people who already know making thousands of dollars a week just isn't going to happen. If it did no one would be commuting to work or working for someone else.
Scam artists are just that, artists. If they were truly making even $95.24 a week they wouldn't be wasting time advertising it. They spend their time and making their money recruiting the uninformed and learning how to attract more of the uninformed. It obviously pays off, otherwise they wouldn't be spending their money with online advertising!
If you really want to make money online you'd know about Eddy Salomon's www.workathomenoscams.com and Wealthy Affiliate. These are the only two places I can recommend to people who want to make serious money! It's not easy and requires serious work and time to start accumulating any cash flow, but it will come!
If you are out of work and have been a long time you have the number one resource few have; time. Without time on your hands your chances for success is very limited. It's also going to cost you money, education and the ability to communicate online. The resources are there but, you have to be very careful how you spend your money and where you get your education. It's a hands on learning experience. There is no classroom, there is no college to go to and stay away from going to conferences promising you any education on getting rich fast!
Every day it saddens me to be asked by so many how I earn my income and how much I make. Get Educated!

Is JSS tripler a scam?

Hi everyone. I hope you are having a lovely summer. I'm taking a couple of days off and came up north for the relaxation. It's beautiful this time of year in Minnesota. This gave me a few minutes to slow down. The latest "money maker" on my radar is JSS tripler. It's advertising campain is driving me nuts as they are marketing everywhere. I'm not going to say one way or the other about this site but, everything it says to advertise makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! It says to me-Suckers join here. Why? They promise 300% return on investment. They tell about some "rookie internet marketer" who now makes big money and will show you how as well. It has "testimony" from some person who can start work on building a dream home in France! Over the years I've looked and sometimes joined so many programs like this I can tell you the promises are truly out of this world! Except the part about you buying $10 positions, it's bogus. Unless you can tell me otherwise I'm not going to give it another thought.

NeoBux 14 days after joining

Yes, I've been working away at Mylot. You already know I will not place the label of  "scam" on any site online until I've been scammed myself! So far I've lost $45 since starting this site. Whether Mylot is a scam or not isn't known. I can tell you it will probably take a long time to figure that out.
I joined Neobux on the 9th of April. Today I have made 31 cents but that is spread over 14 days! I've made 2 cents a day. Granted I've taken about 4 days off with limited internet access. So I didn't work Neo bux every day. My math tells me I've made 3 cents a day when counting only the 10 actual days I've worked.
Please take into account my personal goals before making a decision on this one! I've spent no money. I've supplied no direct referrals and won't buy any rented referrals. This limits my ability to make more money on a daily basis.
Yes this is my base line for all sites, looking for a site you can join without spending any money or any knowledge. On one hand I will make very little money but, on the other it is a good demonstration of how difficult it is to make money without some kind of online presence. NeoBux tends to work best for those with a following of referrals, a lot of referrals. 3 cents may not seem to be enough money to be worth your time, but for me when I'm awake and no one else is, early in the morning, it's an easy activity. It requires little thought process. That is, 3 cents for a couple of clicks.
Again, don't take just my experience as a complete review of your own! If you have enough people following you and you want to give it a try, by all means, go ahead. What do you have to loose?

How to spot a scam

Spotting scams is a difficult thing to do even when you've been identifying them for years!
I just ran into another one of those "This is a scam, mine is not. Go to this website, my web site!
Let me explain: This is for those of us who research a website we find. We go looking for other peoples reviews of that website. We see one that says it's a scam so we open it to find out why. It will usually say only that what you're researching is a scam and that you should go to another site that is not a scam. Sorry but this is a no sell for me! Even though  it might not be a scam, I would not do business with anyone who advertises like that!
Remember when junk mail came in an unmarked envelopes that had a red stripe across the front? I opened these just so I would know who not to give my business too!

All dog food is bad?!

Today I have two posts today! You may be thinking it's about dog food but it's not. It's about an ad I viewed on a PTC site I'm part of. Clixsense never says their ads are 100% true and correct. Today's laugh comes from www.topqualitydogfood.com.
Their ad said the average dogs live span is 11 years. So far this is true! The next thing it says is your dog should live at least 20 years and dogs die too young because we don't know exactly what's in dog food. Therefore veterinarians, breeders, even the scientists who develop the dog food they feed to their own dogs is actually killing them? But still I'm not telling you not to believe them. Lots of people are going to buy it, just in case their right. But I for one am not.
My reasoning comes from common sense. This would mean breeders knowingly shorten the window of opportunity to breed their animals, even though they study closely what the scientists are doing and thinking about what should be fed to their breeding stock. Veterinarians know and understand the science that goes into the dog food they recommend. They have to or they could not have become veterinarians in the first place! They ARE serious scientists, applying science to our dogs directly. It's a requirement of their education.
Last but not least: Farm dogs have three major functions on the farm. They watch over the farmyard when the farmer is sleeping. They help bring the cattle in to the barn area, etc. They eat left overs. They live about 11 years.
So with all this in mind, go forth and make up your mind. To me it makes no sense.
The biggest glaring thing about all this is no reputable company would say all others are wrong. This is my biggest answer to this advertising ploy.

craigslist good news for job seekers

I've been doing my job for this blog for another week since my last post. This time I only ran into one bad job ad in all the categories I look through! I comb through customer service, once notorious for junk "opportunities" is cleaned up!. Then there are the part time and ETC, equally riddled with pointless job opportunities. Amazingly "gigs" never was too much of a waste of my time. Today only one popped up under part time. It contained a link which led me to a website guaranteeing that if I join their program I will be able to retire in 12 to 24 months! You and I both know this is not the reason people look for jobs. Even if it was true most people are looking for a 9-5, go to work in the morning and come home at night. Even running your own business from home takes a lot of work and passion. You will find yourself immersed in your company sometimes as late as 1 in the morning if not later! And when you can't sleep past 5am just might go on line right then. That one job I personally flagged. So there is not much on the scam front to warn you about this week! As I continue to think why this has been a trend I can't help but want to believe people are wising up and reporting these bogus "opportunities".
I do know AIL (American Income Life Insurance) is still trying to recruit sales staff within the "customer service" portion.

Global success club blog is a scam. I wouldn’t touch it and expect many more complaints about this site, if it survives at all.

I clicked on this ad on June 7^th, today at about 8:30 am. I knew it was a scam before I opened the ad and more than confirmed it after opening the website.

The ad itself prays on our hope and desperation to make money in the aftermath of the recession. It wants you to believe you can make over $8000 a month with little to no knowledge about earning an online income. They say they have a system, a 90 day system. All you have to do is follow their step by step instructions.

I clicked on the link that led me to the site. The first thing it says is: “Tired of all the lies, scams, and empty promises?” This produced a smile on my face! That in itself busted them! If you are a legitimate site you don’t have to say that! Always look for the forum for its members to discuss all things about earning on their site.  I don’t see it!

You’ve already made a great step forward by doing the research. If you’re on the fence at all about any website you do the scam hunt! Good for you.

Making money on line without scams

For this post I want to include as much information as possible and get it right for you. The newest opportunity I ran into is ZNZ One. Before I look at it and possibly waste my time I started the research for the possibility it is actually a scam. Even then I have to be careful that it actually is a scam. You can find talk on line about an opportunity is a scam, however it is not. These people have another motivation for personal reasons to give an opportunity a bad name. This is what I run into all the time. Plus some other situations that put up yellow lights for me.

1. Some people will build a website for their opportunity that pops up with these key words: Is XXX opportunity a scam? It will offer a short statement that does a partial job of bashing the opportunity and says that instead, you should join their opportunity. To top it off there is a convenient link provided to jump over to their site. I chalk this one up to personal motivation and not providing any evidence that what they say is true. I will not join the program that is this deceitful. It is an age old truth; one misrepresentation spells only more in the future.

2. Disgruntled members are known to lash back at the program that discontinued their relationship. Honest, paying opportunities will discontinue any person or entity for using bots, hacking and creating spam. They in turn bash the program with anger and aggression. A little more research will expose their motivation. If there’s only one or two people bashing the program it is not necessarily a scam. There’s not enough proof. You already know people lie on line by giving false hope and using fear.

3. When your search using this scam question turns up page after page filled with sales websites with links leading you straight to the program, leaving no room for anyone to say anything derogatory. While this does not necessarily mean it’s a scam, I won’t automatically ignore it, but I do proceed with caution.

To eliminate as much as possible the chance of wasting my time I will look up the page ownership. I also find out details like how long it’s been around and what the possibly abbreviated company name refers to.

Craigslist Scam

Craigslist scams are getting better and more frequent. One of the latest is applied to sellers of expensive items. If you sell or have sold anything on Craigslist you probably already have seen this in action! In a matter of minutes or a day you get an email saying they want to buy what you are selling, sight unseen. They usually tell you they will pay you through paypal because they are: Out to sea, in another country temporarily, or any excuse why they can't do this themselves. They tell you they have an anonymous shipper who will arrange pick up with you. If you fall for it the "shipper" picks up your item and you let them because you see the money in your paypal account. The buyer files a dispute with paypal. Paypal has no choice to send the money back to "the buyer". They have no proof the item was ever picked up.
This scam must work for them enough to justify all the work they put into it. It's so prolific people are talking about it in the paypal forum. I for one would love to run a bust on them and submit that idea to one of the major networks. Hmmm.
Craigslist doesn't care, take responsibility enough to create even a scam warning forum or even let you warn others. Do your business face to face, never use pay pal and stay alert to anything that is "odd". 

Is loot2boot a scam?

Today I’m going to spend a bunch of time talking about scams. They have gotten even better at disguising themselves.

Today I went into Craigslist.com. I have found legitimate paying positions through Craigslist. You just need to remember this is a free posting site so anyone can post anything in the hopes of snagging you into their web of lies for free. One such place is Loot2boot. No, they did not get my money, but they did get my time. This is irritating.

Under Customer service I found “are you great on the computer?” Looking for agents to work l, both full time and part time. So I emailed them for more information. Kobie King sent me an email back with a website. I clicked on the site and the first yellow flag went up for me. The web site wants you to view a webinar that lasts a little over 13 minutes, during which this person spends over 6 minutes telling me it costs me nothing, they will never ask for money, etc. He keeps repeating these words and says nothing about an actual job. It introduces you to the website you need to utilize to “just complete one offer”.  I went into this website where the instructions to gain access to this money making idea gave me red flags. You need to work only through Firefox and gmail. You either need a paypal account or get “a company debit card”. Those three things don’t bother me much as I have and use Firefox, gmail and paypal. What I didn’t like was the instructions following that information. You have to go into settings in your computer. You must accept cookies and third party cookies. Before you gain access to their offers you must complete all of their requirements listed.

I then went on to do a search whether it’s a scam or not. The results I got from Google made me a little more than nervous. I asked if Loot2boot.com was a scam. I received a list of sites that seemed to say the same thing. “It is” and “I recommend this site instead”. All those sites were set up the same way. So I paged in a little further and found a reference to someone I both respect and admire. I copied and pasted that one and asked him if it was true and correct. I received no response. I have the feeling it is true because he never discusses how he runs his business. If it was not he would be quick to respond.

There are just too many “red lights going up for me. I’m going to skip this one.
