To me SEO writing is just like running a news paper or magazine. Yes I did, in college. They make you do a lot of things you think you’ll never need in the future.) First you pick a subject you know lots of people are interested in, like for example: socks. Everyone wants and needs them. Then you pick a title like: Socks for every occasion. Then start finding brand names of socks and list every possible thing people would want to know about each brand. You want to talk about what they’re made of, where to get them, their website, etc. Organize everything by keywords and wait for the money to flow in! Sorry about that but I couldn’t resist.
You need titles (headlines) that catch people’s eye. A news paper is organized as the latest news, finance, business, classifieds, etc. These are key words. Over time you should be collecting enough material and key words to increase your web site’s standing with the search engines.
